November 27th, 2004 marked the end of the 944-spec season and saw Steve Sapareto (Az) join Tim Comeau (So-Cal) as a 2004 944-spec Regional Champion. Congratulations to all that raced in 944-spec in 2004 and making it great success.

Steve competed in an amazing 14 of 15 races over the course of the 2004 Arizona season. He netted 3 wins, 4 seconds, and 4 thirds on his way to a dominating performance in the season points race. 2004 was Sapareto's 3rd season in 944-spec and his strongest by far. Along the way he set 1 track record and 4 personal best laps. Great Job Steve!

Tim Comeau - 2004 So-Cal Champion

Tim Comeau became the first person to win two regional championships (So-Cal) in 944-spec after repeating his 2003 championship in 2004. Tim competed in 10 of 12 races along the way picking up 7 wins, 3 seconds place finishes and setting 4 of 6 track records in the region. Great Job Tim!
