No ST6's at Roebling.

And unfortunately, I blew my head gasket in qualifying on Sat, so I didn't even get to race at all!

Pete, if you have oil / water mixing, make sure it's not just the oil cooler seals, right? Call me if you need to chat.

SoCal 944 Spec #22 since Feb 2003.
Let's keep building it!

Thanks Tim. Unfortunately, I really cooked the engine and after inspection, 3 of 4 cyls are scored badly. Will have to just salvage whatever parts are still good and build a new engine.

Hey, if I rent one of your cars, do you deliver???

Sorry to hear about your motor Pete.

Marcelo and I ran ST6 at Willow Springs a couple of weeks ago. We had 6 cars on Sat and 5 on Sunday.

It was a mix of Miatas, 944 and a Saturn.

We had a great 4 car battle for the lead on Saturday with multiple cars taking the lead and then forced to give it up. I won on Saturday but came in 8 lbs under weight. I had the wrong weight listed on my forms.

Sunday I won by a big margin because I put on Hoosiers. Marcelo did not have any to put on. We ran on RR Toyos on Saturday.

Heres an update to ST6 in SoCal. We have had less and less cars at each event because the other competitors think the 944 has an unfair advantage.
I am running my car in spec trim except for the 9" wheel and R7 Hoosiers. This has proven to be a very fast combo.
BTW Phils Tire now has the Jeongbloed 15 x 9" wheels for the 944.
I am beating most of the ST5 cars with the 944 in ST6.
It is sooooo funny because they cant understand how these car can be so fast when in reality we are running just slightly faster than the spec cars (1-2 seconds per lap). These competitors are driving well prepared former PT cars but just are not on pace for ST6.
At Fontana a couple of weeks ago we ran less than 1 second faster than Spec on Hoosiers.
Anyways I believe that the 944 with the wider wheel and R7 tire can easily win the Nationals at Mid O.
So somebody go out there and be the first ST6 National Champion in a spec 944!!
