I knew there was cheating agoin on up yonder. Them boys is just up to nogood, if yall ask me.

Tim, I want to protest every win Mr. National Cheater has with this cheater car. Joe, it seems to me that this calls for a lifetime ban and a note on the 2009 National Championship that explains the obvious cheating that must have taken place for him to beat you and me. Goodness only knows what went on with that car!!!!!

Mr. Clean as the driven snow

It does look like the plate that was fabricated did lock in the suspension to stop it from being movable but I suppose it was made this morning in time for the picture.

Only a time honored cheater (Mr. Foxx) would know all the trix i thought I saw his name in the cheaters handbook passed out by the SCCA. (Stupid Car Club Amerika)

Hell most of what I know about cheating is from just looking at Jims car. hahahahaha

I know this looks bad but I made a choice to not hide it.

So now one must wonder what is he really hiding

Those are nice brackets, any one looking to buy some ?

You can't believe how hard it is to drive a car at 86% so as not to appear a cheater.

All fun and games these 944 guys.

Based on this pictures this looks to me like some "slotted" the suspension.

This one is the real key

If you look you can see the plates moded the arm to sit lower in the torsion bar moun. The round flange and the round control arm are now not lined up.

I am still trying to understand what this would achieve, but I can tell you right now I would consider that illegal. You can clearly see someone intentionally hacked up the mount and move the position control arm relative to the body for some reason. One can only assume it was to improve something.

My recommendation is to replace the t-bar carrier. If you get to nationals like that and we check for bushings this will likely stand out. You could try to weld plate there to corret it, but it will invite more questions. It does not appear you are fixing some "wear" surface. So that may be hard to answer and prove your case.

Truthfully I had I found this at impound I would have been quite upset. Now given the circumstances of this being new car to you built by someone else and you bring this out in the open I would give some lattitude. However since you have not run any Az events I don't feel I can make call as to what or if a penalty should be applied. That will be Tim Comeau's call being the So-cal regional director.

I agree, had this been found at impound it should have severe penalties. Big Dog would of course have the duty of applying those penalties as it seems he has the most experience in that area

Regarding retroactively applying penalties, is there any precedent for that? Are there some rules or guidelines about this somewhere, maybe in the CCR? Would it be fair to reinspect a car that ran at Miller and apply a penalty if something was missed in impound?
