As much as I want to join you guys and get back on RA again, turns out I need a new head. Got it off this morning and the exhaust valves aren't sealing properly. I wouldn't mind just throwing a used head on and doing the week end, but I dont think I have the time to get one shipped and installed in time.

Ag, when could you get out here? We have at least 2 heads at the chicken shack-

Do you have one for a late high compression motor? I have to leave after class on Friday so that would put me at RA around 9 or 10 if I have everything loaded Thursday evening.

The motor is currently apart so I would have to figure out how to get it loaded on the trailer with no power.

Is the chicken shack on the NE side of Atlanta? I'm coming from Alabama so I'm just wondering if its better to goto the Shack Friday and then get to the track the next morning.

We have one that is shaved specifically to go on a low compression motor to max the compression and another that is still attached to a running (we were told) stock engine we pulled from a street car.

The shack is directly north of Atlanta in Cumming, exit 13 on GA-400. It's about 40 minutes from Road Atlanta.

Do you mean 9 or 10 in the morning or night?

Well I have a high compression motor with the late pistons so in order to use that early head I think I would have to stack some head gaskets.

And that ETA is 8-9 PM or 20-2100 for you military types.
