I forgot about your Sunday pre-grid adventure. You left real early so as not to be late. I didn't realize you were testing for the tire rubbing against the car. You probably could tell this story better than I can but my understanding is you test drove your car in the north end of the paddock and got to a place you couldn't turn around and had to back down this road, didn't see it had a embankment and high center the car and got stuck. Luckily you rounded up four guys and got your car back onto the asphalt and made it to grid at the five minute marker.
I'm sorry but this mental picture has me laughing
I'm glad you got to grid on time. If you had miss grid again I think none of us will ever let you forget it ............. ever!

Ken your accounting of the pre grid adventure is accurate. I was completely beside myself when I realized that I may miss the start of the race on Sunday. Luckily there was plenty of friendly help nearby.

The race with Steve and Rick s a blast. Steve knew exactly where to position his car to negate all my pass attempts. great Job Steve!!

Hope to come up there again next year.
