I don't mind between the BBQ or our potluck, but we would probably eat better with the potluck

I agree - in NORCAL you are lucky if you get a burger at the BBQ before they run out of meat (my admittedly one-off experience as I don't usually go).

I'd rather do a potluck kind of thing. I've got a bunch of burgers and dogs for our July 4th party so I'll bring what's left (should be lots) with buns etc or pick up more if needed. I'll probably grab a deli salad or something too. I have a small grill but I assume Big Dog will have the big grill out. I always have my ~ 3X5' table and camping chairs with me.

I've never run Laguna so a track walk would be great.

Admittedly the food at the NASA BBQ isn't gourmet fare but is palatable, and its free! What I like about it is that we end up socializing with people we normally wouldn't meet. Last race we ended up talking to the parents of a legends driver for 2 hours. At thunderhill we met new e30 racers who are now good friends of ours. I also happened to have the parts they needed to fix their car and race on Sunday.

Having said that, I'll bring a pot of chili if we want a potluck.

Ok lets go with the potluck.

My crew will bring a salad and an appatizer and a small BBQ.

Charlie, as for the track walk, I doubt I will be able to keep up with you walking anyway!
