Got the verdict yesterday, front end is not salvageable but overall the tub is straightish. The sawzall and welders come out this weekend to cut up the donor and graft it to the racecar, which I'll call franken44 from now on. sorry i missed Sonoma but I hope to be back by august or september at the latest

I was at Sonoma Saturday doing HPDE4 in my Mustang street car, was looking forward to saying hello to the ol' 944 Spec gang. Saw Ken's car...no Ken though. I saw the other red 944, thought it might have been my old Swurvenwagen #44, but not.
