Wasn't thinking but we should have taken a before and after shot. Those white stripes definitely makes the car look faster.

Hey I heard from someone who knows someone who heard that adding racing stripes and decals gives you 10-15 more HP.

I guess if you think the car is faster, you might drive it harder and thus, the strips were obviously worth doing.

If you are going to look fast, you better drive fast too.

Hmm..functional racing stripes. Might be some truth to that. I read once that racing stripes evolved from people making a line down the hood in front of the driver for line of site reference.

My $5.99 contact paper homemade numbers were only supposed to last through my 1st HPDE, but they haven't fallen off yet so I haven't thought much about it. But I did try making a racing stripe with the same roll one day when I was bored, ended up as a blistery, wrinkled, crooked mess that I peeled right back off.

If racing stripes make me faster, I wonder what real numbers/decals would do?

Anyway, nice choice on the white.

I dunno if it was the stripes...but my car ran better and SEEMED faster on the drive home...hahaha
