When: Saturday Feb. 7, 2009 - 10AM
Where: Ken and Steve's Hayward warehouse.

Tony from TCDesigns will be at the Hayward warehouse at 10am to perform annual tech inspection and sign off log books or issue new log books for the new cars.
We have a group discount rate of $20 each annual or $60 each log book.

Afterwards Rick Lofgren our 2008 NorCal 944-SPEC champion will be giving a seminar on how to do corner balancing. We'll need a couple of volunteer cars. I know we'll have more volunteers than time permits so perhaps we can give priority to the folks furthest away from the Hayward warehouse. If Rick doesn't mind leaving his cornering scales I don't mind opening up the warehouse on Sunday and continuing this.

I am going to be swapping out my whiny transmission at some point during the day at Ken & Steve's shop. I know a few of you have done this procedure before. Hopefully some of you guys can help me out. Any advice or assistance would be GREATLY appreciated. I hear it really isn't THAT difficult a job, but I'd love to have a veteran or 2 around for guidance.

I know my car has a very bad corner balance problem. I had the car weighed at least 3 times and all 3 times the numbers came out very similar.

My last check, the car weight was 2634 lbs with my hefty 200 lb body.

Front Left 763 Front Right 591

Rear Left 629 Rear Right 702

I would love to use my car as a guinnea pig so what do I need to do to up to Rick so I can be the CHOSEN ONE!
