Rick, on the 944, the mirror twists in to reveal a hex bolt that attaches the mirror to the door. Removal is a snap. I would guess it is the same on that car so now you know for the future.

I know this because I had to replace one on my car and others enlightened me with a great deal of ribbing, I might add. Of course, that could result at Infinion.

damn, i didn't think of that. i looked from the inside of the door and i almost used a crowbar to get it off. i figured the door was trashed anyway.

That, my friend, is what 944 racing is all about.
