I contacted EASY...they said that "all you 944-Spec guys keep buying them up!". I'll check back later.
I need to find a car like Ken found for $100 WITH cookie cutters!
So...what size rims and tires are needed to race? 15x7 front, 15x8 rear? Tires are what? 205/50ZR15?

Hi Jeremy,

944-SPEC requires 15" on all fours, cookie cutters or phonedials Late cars are late offset phonedials only.
The tires has to be Toyo 225x50x15 R888's. Toyo RA-1's are discontinued but legal till you wear them out.

Yes, the $100 car was a good find!
It's a automatic and non-running (yet) but it's a complete car and has a straight body, a engine and of course the cookies.

The best wheel to get is the 15x7 Cookie Cutters as those are the lightest but you can always go for a set of early 15x7 Phone Dials first and then find a set of Cookies later. The offset you will need is 23.3mm and the size is 15x7.

There are a few guys selling some non-running 944's with 15x7 and 15x8 Fuchs for around $600-$900 range. Too bad we can't use those wheels for racing.

You can also check with Parts Heaven in Hayward and see if they are willing to trade you 2 sets of Cookies for your 16" Fuchs. Like I said, I sold my 16" Fuchs for $1,000 and the Cookies should not be more than $300 for a set so do the math and don't end up on the short end of the stick.

I sent an email to Parts Heaven. I told them I would trade for 2 sets + cash or Toyos. OR 1 set of wheels and a Spec legal DOM Autopower cage.
We'll see what they say.
