The wiring harness is sorted. For cost savings, we are running the factory tach and oil pressure gauge, with an aftermarket temp gauge. DME, brake lights, wipers and fans, all run thru fuses and relays. Switch panels arrive on Friday, should make for a fun weekend. Timing/balance shaft belts and WP next.

Picked up these control arms from a guy named Calvin in Long Beach who is not continuing with his 944 build. Lower radiator support, and valence support were bonuses.

Great, be sure to let us know if you need any parts or advice. I am too far away to help physically but can offer technical knowledge.

Thanks Charlie, any help is always appreciated!! Great battle at nationals, by the way! I was crew for a TT car, but because of the 5 hour break on Sunday, I was able to watch a lot of the racing. What a great community of drivers and people. I start sorting the car on track in January.

Thanks!

What year is your chassis again?

Those are early control arms which are fine, you will need the early rear mount to go with them if you dont have them already. I believe that is the 83-85 chassis. Looks like all new parts too.

You want your initial setup to be about 3.5 front camber, 3.0 rear. 1/8" toe out in front, 1/16" toe in for rear. Set both sway bars to the mid settings as a starting point.

I have a cheat sheet for setup adjustments that tells you what adjustments to make based on handling issues. Shortens the learning curve by alot.

Cool, a cheat sheet would be great! The chassis is an 83, I only have an adjustable front Weltmeister bar. No camber caster plates, so I will put in as much as the factory parts allow. Jim Richmond has been a huge help with some parts, and advice. Tim Comeau has priceless info and help, as well. I love this group!
