These may not be as exciting as some previous ones, as the racing is not as close as usual.
I lost the big memory cards, so no back facing camera this time.

The temperatures soared to above 106 degrees on Saturday (possibly up to 109) and at least 104 on Sunday. My oil temperatures on Saturday shot WAY to high, so I backed off to save the engine. The temperatures got to a lot of the race cars and racers as well. The EMT's treated four people for heat stroke.

Debby has a good run in her session and chases down an M3 with at least 90 more horsepower, only to ..... well, you will have to watch to find out!

In the final race on Sunday, I make a couple of big mistakes that cost me later on. I finally see a chance to catch Tom, so the last 5 laps I turn the fastest times of the weekend, including the last lap that is the fastest of all the 944's, on what turns out to be a corded tire.

We had some great Racing at Buttonwillow.

Thomas was fast and clean. Chuck took the lead on some great starts and great driving.

I was part of Thomas's bumper for much of races.

I too had camera's cutting out from heat some...

Heck I was laughing just as hard after he passed me sadly video had crapped out so do not see his car bouncing from one curb to another. Hats off to him good pass and I guess you would call that car control. I made have been fast and clean but Jim was a bit faster that day. A great race weekend lots of fun and to quote the British bloody hot.
