TOPIC: FS: 1988 street/track 944, Colorado, $3000

FS: 1988 street/track 944, Colorado, $3000 6 years, 1 month ago #21979

Selling a 1988 and it is priced to sell!
(I'm a CMC guy with a Foxbody, but posting for wife and able to answer any questions)

$3000 obo takes it all.

Quick Backstory;
My wife and I have been very involved with the Rocky Mountain region for the past 12 years. Wife bought the car many years ago with plans to go racing. The car made it to the point of partial interior strip, fully built engine to spec, and that's it. Been used for a few HPDE sessions. It literally has less than 500 miles since rebuild.

Now life's plans have changed and we are planning on selling everything, moving into a 5th wheel, and traveling the country on a grand adventure. Therefore the car MUST GO.

CAR:
Photos's here:
photos.app.goo.gl/GlqkKgcmpvkBcNZ42
(let me know if it doesn't work)

The car is a 1988 with 1987 engine. (Not to throw out names, but...) Engine built by former national champion David Dirks to same specs as his engine.
Lots of parts to go with it. Body in great shape. All it needs is a weekend to throw on race brake pads, shocks, torsion bars and it is ready for the track.

NEEDS ROLL CAGE. But good news, we're a stone's throw away from Hanksville. If you want, we can always drop the car off for you at his place for your cage.

Car is still Street legal and passes emissions.

Ask me questions here, or e-mail at joe(dot)r(dot)kita(at)gmail(dot)com as I know I've missed something.

Chassis, etc:
• 1988 body

• 30mm solid torsion bar (not installed)
• Eibach Springs 350 lbs (not installed)

Congrats to another owner of a new/used 944.
