Last summer I purchased the SPEC prep package from DART auto using all the weltmeister parts, replaced rod bearings, put in a oil pan baffle. I believe all that is left is to have a cut-off switch put in to make it race ready. I did HPDE events with it last year with the intention to put it in traffic this year.

I am. I ran it all last summer at BIR. Just picked up a 996 so I plan on running that this summer instead.

More details about the car. I bought it 3 years ago and the previous owner had the timing belt, water pump, and all the front seals replaced. Car had 117K on it when I bought it and has been used only on the track since then. I will taking a bunch of pictures this week and posting them to my server, once that is completed Ill post a link.
