This just came my way through POC channels. Don't know more than what the article advises and reveals - haven't even run the tires yet myself! Just thought that I'd see what you all think/keep you in the loop and safe!

However, since it advises inspecting the tires after sessions that involve substantial acceleration or braking I guess it does not apply to me.

This is a well known issue and seems to predominately effect the early run RRs. If you follow the mounting and rotation criteria set forth, you should have no issues.

I have 20 heat cycles on one seat and about 10 on another set, and haven't had any ill effects. I specifically followed the correct mounting criteria, and rotated every 3-5 heat cycles.

The advisory is dated Dec 2012 so was something that everyone dealt with all last season.
