Well, after laying on the concrete for the last several hours I only have to attach the long shift arm to the short shaft arm. Doesn't fit. I ordered this for an '83 944, but elected to put it on my '88 924S spare tranny. Are there different kits for different year trannies?

Well, using a caliper, it's at least a 1/16th of an inch thicker!

Pretty sure there is only one kit to rule them all. Have you tried loosening everything up first and then trying to assemble?

Turns out they received some out-of spec kits, mine wasn't the only one. It wasn't ever going to fit. All is well now.
