We continue to move forward with this class in the Mid South region.

As many of you are aware, we started with 8 cars in various stages of disrepair with only one running when we began the project back in August.

We have completed two builds with Pat Magruder completing comp school and racing last weekend.

David Brooks is now in DE3

Jeff Altemus is in DE2 and has a newly rebuilt engine and is having his cage installed this week. His car should hit the track for the first time at our NOLA event in May.

Brian Hurley is in DE2 and has caged his car and is installing his suspension. His car should hit the track in either May or June

Manny Moody is in DE2 and has just about completed his wiring and is ready to install his cage. It should make the next event.

We have Steve's completed car ready to sell but we will be very picky as to who we sell it to within the region.

Out of all the folks that started the process, we have had only one person wash out.

With good luck and people staying on track, we could have 7 944 Spec racers by the end of the year.

Pretty exciting.
