Please extend a warm welcome to two new drivers to the 944 Great Lakes Spec. series in 2011.

First is John Armstrong from NE Ohio. John has been working hard on his 944 over the winter and has a sharp graphics package on a beautiful car. John will be attending comp. school at Mid-Ohio in April and will be running his first NASA race that weekend also. John is no stranger to the track after driving a Corvette with several clubs at many tracks over the years.

Next is Shannon McCue from NE Ohio. Shannon has been driving with NASA for several years in HPDE and GTS-1 along with logging a lot of track hours with PCA. His newest 944 just received a fresh roll cage and will soon be receiving the finishing touches to run with us in the Spec. series.

2011 is shaping up to be a great year of 944 racing in the Great Lakes Region with two more racers added to the series.
