Thanks to Joe, I just saw the current schedule for Nationals and was very dissapointed with it. The Championship races are only 35 minutes, flag to flag, this year. It seems a shame for the National Championship race to be more like the typical regional races rather than something more special. Given our lap times, it looks like we will have 14 or 15 laps at most.

They took out one hour for lunch and 10 minutes for course checking after every race. Not what I was expecting. How do I let the big guys know that this does not make me happy? I think they need to hear from racers about this. It is, after all, the National Championships.

Of course least year I would have enjoyed a 10 minute shorter race. HA...


This year... lets keep it at 38 minutes green flag time like last year.

I am pretty sure the next revision will show 50 minutes track time for the championship race. This is 5 more minutes than last year and should give us at least 40 minutes green flag racing.

Fantastic, Joe. Having a stable format for our championship races would be a big plus, going forward.

Now we just need to get some more cars signed up.
