After much weighing of reason's to race vs not to race at Nationals this year, the not to, won by a land slide.

Good news for me is Dave Balingit and John Lindsey are using me to help run the event, Registration, grid etc...it sounds like I will be the gofer as needed guy. So I maybe wearing lots of helmets (hats) this year. 944 is very fortunate to have Ken there as 944spec director who I have found to be one of the most valuble and most balanced players in 944 spec. His energy is so calming, having fun is always a priority along with his knowledge of the spec rules makes him "The Man" I will miss Joe alot up there this year and my thoughts are with him and Gina.

If any of you need me for anything, let me know.

Hope I am still invited to Jim Richmond's pizza party, I did watch intensly last year as the pros did a motor swap!!!

Charley, Thanks for your note, this was one of the hardest decisions I've had to make in a long time, Chuck Taylor, myself and a couple of others were at MMP"s inaugurial race in 2006 and I haven't missed a year yet, it does make it easier to know that I will be a part of the program. I love the 944spec family and will be there to help when I can as well.
