Anyone know off the top of their head what size and thread the bolts are at the back of the engine block?

I need to get a set for my engine stand to get this thing off the old tire it's resting on

Will double check later; however - they're not common. Thinks it's 10x1. Had to get them from boltdepot.com

None of the local places carried the correct thread pitch.

If you are taking the bellhousing off, just use the bellhousing bolts to mount the engine.

Thanks JB3 I've ordered from boltdepot before so that won't be a problem.

If it were attached to a bellhousing or I had the bolts lying around I already would have gone that route. That's what I normally do but this is a spare engine.

Oh, guess I gave the stupid answer

PET lists the bolts as M12 X 50 and M12 X 95. 2 of each. No pitch given.

It's a fine pitch. One of the bolts from a seatbelt anchor threaded into mine. I don't have a number for you, though.
