16.3.7 The battery may be replaced with a unit of any size, but it must be securely mounted in the stock location and must be capable of starting the car.

Make sure those door bars stick outwards towards the door skin. When I bought my car the bars were straight from the main to the front hoop and I just couldnt drive without banging my elbow on them. I borrowed a bender and made some new ones.

Yours looks different than mine. Besides mine having two door bars (that bend outward), my main hoop connects back to the rear wheel wells.

I'm using mine temporarily (got a helluva deal on it) for HPDE and while I get my license, then I'll go to a full built cage for competition.

So while we're on the topic of these cages, anybody have the same model as mine? I'm having a hard time getting the top passenger side door bar to go in. It's like the two connecting ends (on the main hoop and the bar going down the a-pillar) are not lining up. The cage was (allegedly) never in an accident, and it doesn't look like it took any damage. Not sure if it's tweaked and I can't see it, or if I'm just being an idiot.

Mine started out like yours and we highly modified it...we removed the rear bars cuz the wheel wells were so thin...and added a door bar...your cage is not bent just very hard to install!!!

I'll keep at it then.

Everything else went so smoothly that it's about time I ran into an issue.
