I am helping with an early car build (84). We are interested in the urethane transmission mount fix while the trans is out of the car to make sure there is no problem with the mounts.

Does anyone know where to get them or how to do the mod? If we do it ourselves, how do we go about it? Pics would be helpful!

Neil, do you have any advice, since this was your suggestion?

I haven't done it but I've seen some talk of it. I used to run a solid trans mount in my 944 Cup car (legal) and I honestly didn't think it made any difference except for being a major pain to get it lined up when installing the trans
