When I got my car, it had a manual heater control valve that you manipulated between the motor and the firewall inline with the coolant hose that comes off the back of the motor. Not sure if its stock, but it shouldn't be too hard to find something with the right size hose barbs and a lever to throw for on/off. Might still have it in my garage and post up a picture.
