My track car has become the most popular car in the family lately, my RA-1's are getting more street wear than the track. My daughter drives it to school instead of her VW when it's raining, son takes it on dates and such, and we're driving it to/from nearby autox.
So, I'm thinking about mounting my old 215/60/15 tires on some extra wheels.
Car's lowered to 4", not sure if they'll rub. Anyone drove their lowered car with 60's on?

Given the lighter weight and stiffer suspension I would be you have no issues with 215/60 R15 tires.

My ride height is 4” and I run Hoosier C3000 23.0x9.5-15 cantilever slicks with a tread width of 9.2” for Autox. I only had problems on take off. But I was running the stock torsion bars. I went to a 28 mm torsion bar and solved the problem. So I would think 60s would be fine.

How old are your old tires? I ran across this and went out and checked both my sons cars tires.

When I said "old" I just meant my pre-RA1 tires.
They're good, but thanks anyway for the thought.
Thats another reason I want to get some all season tires on it, my RA1's have tread but probably not the best rain tires for the street.
