Couple of issues.....
If someone or many can help

Using the auto meter gauges, i can't get the oil temp to read anything. I have the lindsey in the drain bolt sensor. Just one wire to the Sender of the gauge and 12v at the power and a good ground. I'm racking my head trying to think of what is wrong. No idea. ideas?

Then the oil pressure gauge is a whole other problem. The sensor that came with the gauge will not fit in the space offered. So i would like to use the factory one if possible. Two connections...Neither do anything to move the gauge from 0. ???

Fuel gauge/volt/water temp all working normal. (Water gauge on the fence).

Thanks

Oil temp might just take a long time to come up.

Not sure about the others as I use mechanical gauges. I believe Lindsey offers a T for the oil pressure fitting so you can run an NPT thread sensor off of it.

Spoke to the guys at autometer. They suggest using a braided hose to remote locate the sensor. Sounds like a good idea. Does anyone have any idea on the size fitting needed to thread into the engine block?

M18 X 1.5.

Here's what I used from ISSPRO.com to adapt to 1/8 NPT:

Product ID: R7965
Product Name: R7965
R7965 ADAPTER M18 X 1.5 X 1/8 NPT

Or you could use the Lindsey T which allows you to keep your stock pressure sender if you need it:

Thx. Looks like the right part. Don't think the auto meter sender will fit in the space but that will help with the relocation.

Cheers
