TOPIC: Hanksville cage / Factory dash

Hanksville cage / Factory dash 14 years ago #9221

I am looking at Hanksville cages for my 968 build, could any of you guys who have his cage post a picture of how the cage intersects with the factory dash. After talking with Hank today I know the cage is built so it would require cutting a opening or completely removing the end of the factory dash as to fit around the a-pillar tube. There are no real pic's of a cage install on his site with a factory dash install.

Thanks,

This is not a Hanksville cage or a 968 but close. It is a 944 and similar cage construction. If your looking for gauges try here....
www.glowshiftdirect.com/ and here is a coupon code for an additional 10% off. 944Build2010
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the quick post but as my thread stated looking for a Hanksville with factory dash install. I will keep the gauges in mind though.

Thx,

Just curious..why keep the dash and do all that work? You have the perfect bar for a cage mounted aluminum guage panel.

Ok, next question.....have any of you had trouble installing the instrument cluster in the late model cars with the dash bar?
