The key/latch release on the rear window hatch on my car is borderline useless. I think I can only get one side to latch with any consistency, and i don't want to have any issues when I'm on the track, so is there a reasonable solution for using pins or an alternative securing method?

I didn't really see anything in a search, so forgive me if I missed the obvious "fix the rear hatch" thread.

Thanks,
Ryan

Look at the budget build thread stickied on the top - good, and cheap solution there.

Awesome, thanks for the point out Doc! Your battery tie down method will be happening in my car as well.

Definately want to have both sides latch. I had a high speed spin at MMP where the hatch flew open as I went around backwards and slamed back down as I straightend back out! It's on video somewhere. The pins on each side are adjustable as you probably know.
