8. Outlaw ’88 DME: No
9a & 9b: Yes. A little background here... A set of custom pistons from Ross costs $600/set including pins. My machinist charges $50 per cylinder for doing the Sunnen 3-stage bore and hone process for standard Porsche alusil cylinders (which is the same as the Chevy Vega, BTW.) This is not the nickasil process. So the cost of doing this is roughly the cost of an ’88 donor motor, which is getting harder to find. The reason for suggesting replicating the ’88 piston is greater piston-to-valve clearance, meaning ioncreased margin for valve float under a forced overrev condition. If the general consensus is to replicate the 9.5:1 piston or not doing this at all, I don't make any money either way!
10. Trans coolers: No
11. Catch can: Neutral
12a & 12b: No

1 - No
2 - Yes
3 - No
4 - Ugh... Tires... I'd say yes. Run the 205s if you want. But, I think the 225s are going to be the race winners. The allowance of running take-offs will allow some lower budget racers to keep racing.
5a & 5b - No
6 - Yes. You can be in our run group, but not for points.
7 - Not sure. Need more pros and cons and data.
8 - No. Doesn't the 88 DME pull timing when it senses high water temps? So, the extra RPMs vs Pulling Timing is kind of a trade off.
9a & 9b - Yes. Let's rebuild these engines, and keep on Racing 944s.
10 - No. Not needed IMO.
11 - No. Factory works.
12a & 12b - Yes. I'd like everyone to have the same Intake. No Ram Air! Factory!
13 - No
14 - No
